The Bartolozzi Prize is awarded by the Italian Mathematical Union every two years to an Italian mathematician below the age of 34. Le prix Bartolozzi est une distinction mathématique décernée par l'Union mathématique italienne, tous les deux ans à un mathématicien italien âgé de moins de 34 ans.

Buffa was awarded in 2007 the Bartolozzi Prize and in 2015 the Collatz Prize "for her spectacular use of deep and sophisticated mathematical concepts to obtain outstanding contributions to the development of computer simulations in science and industry" (Laudatio). Buffa a reçu en 2007 le Prix Bartolozzi et en 2015 le Prix Collatz « pour son utilisation spectaculaire de concepts mathématiques profonds et complexes pour obtenir des contributions exceptionnelles au développement de simulations par ordinateur dans les sciences et l'industrie ».
